Insurance Update March 2022

Dear Dental Family

After much deliberation, we have decided to end our preferred provider/in-network status with Cigna Dental Insurance Company, effective May 1, 2022. We will continue to accept your Cigna Insurance however we will do so as an out-of-network provider.

 Unfortunately, being a participating provider for Cigna Insurance is becoming harder for us as they are reducing our fees sometimes by 55% or more. We have always maintained a high standard of care for our patients, and have been unwilling to compromise or cut corners just because of insurance company’s shortcomings.

We hope we have proven ourselves to be an excellent dental care office and that you can remain a patient of ours. We will help secure all the insurance benefits that you do have.

You will likely receive a letter from Cigna in the near future. In not-so-subtle language, this letter will recommend that you find another dentist. We hope that the experience you’ve had with us will encourage you to remain with our practice. Please know that we remain deeply committed to you and your oral health. We’re happy to answer any questions you have and look forward to your next visit!
